Hello. I just bought a Sebring kit(sold as a Sterling, but it is a Sebring). It's used and needs a lot of work. Luckily, I have friends that know fiberglass and I know the rest. This kit requires a lot of work (being used). Most of the work required doesn't bother me much...but the Windshield does. So, the question(s) at hand: Where can I get a windshield? Is the windshield the same as a Sterling (looks soooooo similar I have to ask)? Are these kits based on existing cars for windshields or are they custom made for the specific kit? If I can't find one already made, am I out of luck totally?

Well, it's a barrage of questions...but had to put it out there.
Thanks!

I restored a Sterling from this:

To this:

So feel free to PM any specific questions you have. I would be happy to try to help. I also owned a Sebring...for a couple of days. Bought it at a great price and re-sold it before I did any work. So I have some knowledge of that car as well.

To answer your windshield question....I'm not sure. Solid Sterling (www.solidsterling.com??) still had windshields available. They are custom, not from any specific production car. I would say with about 90% certainty that they will match. I would check with Solid Sterling to be sure. There is also a site....www.clubnova.com (I think?) which may help.

If you need any other help let me know.
