I've spent years designing my own car from scratch. I went as far as biulding a 3 dimentional clay model of it at 1:24th scale. I've had people tell me that I should contact someone in the auto building industry, and try to sell the design. But personally I would be happy just to build one to take to shows. I've put my heart, and soul into this design, but I don't know what to do next. I've designed a supercar thats different than every-other supercar already out there. I intentionally wanted to design a car that would turn heads... but unfortunatly it's only an idea. I want to make it a reality. Please if anyone can help me, maybe point me in the right direction. I would greatly appreciate your time, and effort. I hope to be able to show all of my fellow KitCar Mag. readers the final product. And if it's trully sucessful, I would be willing to sign a contract with a kit car manufaturer, (in order to share my own love of automobiles with others like myself), to build and sell my design for others to enjoy. Thankyou. Sincerly, R.Reed |

This is my first message here, so please bear with me. I would say your next step would depend on three factors: Mechanical aptitude, finances, and time. If you are mechanically inclined, have money and the free time, you could build your "super-car" on your own. That is what I have been doing, I have a 500HP 351 Windsor engine and a Ford Racing Tremec 5-Speed transmission and am installing them in a "home-built" 200-plus MPH "super-car". Though my design really isn't relying on fabricating the entire car( I'm using existing parts mostly, tail lights, windshield, head lights etc), but I am building my own body for it out of "sheetmetal". You designed it, now you want to build it. I'm designing it AS I am building mine.
