OK so I am VERY new to this whole thing but am interested and have a couple of questions. Sorry for being a newbee! First where are the best places for finding a complete kit car top to bottom. Second would be that I really want a muscle car kit car. Do they make them? Lastly what should I look out for goods and bads? Again, your patience and assistance is geatly appreciated.

well first off, This site is a great place to find completed cars as well as eBay. As far as muscle cars go what are you looking for? Not many kits out there like that . Its easier just to buy a real muscle car if we are talking Chevelle, Corvette, Camaro and such.

What to look for? thats hard to answer because your post is unclear of what you want.

Please in the future make your posts as detailed as possible so others can get a better idea of what you are looking for.

some things NOT to do, just so u know
since i know you are eager to get into this i know its easy to make snap decisions that will get your money lost...

NEVER send money without checking out the car first
NEVER send money over seas or for a car thats 'over seas'
NEVER put part money down if you havnt seen the builders work AND talked to several of his customers

just a general rule, if ur uneasy about the trasnaction, there is probly a reason, go with your gutt, and protect ur butt. remember you are the buyer, if the seller is making you jump through hoops to buy their car, something is wrong... they sell it to you on your terms.

that should thwart the majrity of ppl trying to scam you

sorry for any errors iv been up all night preparing for finals....

Like was said prior, many of the muscle cars are still available at a good price making building a kit for one not cost effective, yet. I wanted a hot rod but have always been around sports cars. I ended up building a Cobra. Best of both worlds. There are many kits out there and some are pretty affordable if you are on a budget. You need to ask for references and talk to people that have built the kit along with looking at the factory. There are a lot of people out there that want your $$. There are new steel camaro convertable bodies available and maybe mustang fastbacks in the future. They are around 12,000 just for the body.
