I recently purchased a VW based MGTF. I can't find who made these kits. I have found several front engine kits from Miata, Chevette and MGB bases TFs but none that were basrd on a VW frame. Help.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree. Try MGTD, it was made by fiberfab long ago, a company in Ontario Canada took it over: Prototype Research and Development LTD. Campbellford Ontario.
