Hi all,
I am a single mother trying to get some extra money for a kit car that I got from my father. I have the title and all, but have no clue how to get what it is worth. AND, what is it worth?? LOL. I have had some people try to scam me with the usual scams, but most of the time I am pretty good about that. All I need is some advice on how to sell, and what it is worth. It is not in perfect shape by any means. It is a 1929 MB Roadster Gazelle. Model L-Deluxe No 120?? VW engine. manual trans. Tiffany Motor cars. Blah blah blah. I have no clue what I am talking about.

Thanks a bunch and God Bless.

You need to post pictures so people can look at it. Pics make all the difference in the world.

Lisa, first don't get in a hurry to sell it. Do some simple research right here at this site and any of the other kit car related sites. Also, just watch e-bay under the Kit/ Replica category for a month or so. I'm sure you'll see cars similar to yours being sold there. That should help you establish a selling price. If you want top dollar for it I would indeed list it here at this site and also auction it on e-bay. Watch out for scammers. Selling locally is usually safer but in my experience you can get a lot more money for your car if it is in a national marketplace. You might also check with any local car clubs or car cruise-in guys as they might be able to help you sell your car. Just remember, your car is worth whatever a person is willing to pay for it, no rules in selling. Just post a lot of pic.s and be honest about what you know of it's construction or history.
