are you sure its the same guy? supposedly he is one of the few who builds murcielagos. please be sure, this is really important. rarecars.org only refers to phone numbers, no links or anything. do you know of people he actually scammed?Go to Top of Page

just to clear something up. The two unfinished murci roadsters in the classifieds are mine and I am in no way affiliated with rarecars.

The murcielago ad which runs here also ran at ebay, yellow, again, supposedly a triangle g kit with a builder from rarecars.org. No one else was ever mentioned, and to clear up any confusion, it is ONLY the yellow murcielago with the ad # referenced. are you affiliated with this car by chance? helped build it? know who did?Go to Top of Page

this guy has been in business for a long time. i think its a misunderstanding. he always show up at shows and i always hear alot about this company. he was also supposed to be a very nice and very helpful guy. he has sold many cars to customers already. i mean alot.ive seen many of his builds. hes also very popular on this and other kit sites. why dont you try to contact some of the customers who bought a car from him. this is the first time i heard anything like this. im on neither side . just letting you know what i know.

It is this kind of work that gives the kitcar biz a bad name. It looks like a Freshman autoshop kid lined the doors up. It is awful. I cant believe this is a reputable builder nor can I beleive he is in the biz of car building

First post. (1) Steve @ Ted are brothers. (2) Tri G/Rarecars/used fieroparts/carcrazy gentleman (e-bay name) are all (along with several others) the same people - Steve @ Ted. I know this because I met both of them, Steve at his house (saw a Lambo/Fiero, a F-360/Mr2, @ a Por Carrera/body only, all at steve's). Then Steve @ I went over to Ted's (their parent's house) to see a Por. Carrera (the gold one) that was the second or third one they built. There were both good and bad things with all of them. The P.C. had a tacky interior and no top at that time (he later made one for it-not even close to orig. but not ugly).. The Lambo had non-op windows.. The F-360 (Roadster)was ok but was mainly just a re-skined Mr2 with the roof cut off(I think - it was several years ago, 3-4 ) with no roof (although he thought that he could modify a stock convert. piece to work. I never drove any of them. I was told that the headlights that they were using (on the Por) at that time were NOT STREET LEGAL, and they suggested that I could just drive it in daylight. I passed at that point. Both of these guys seemed friendly and the fiberglass work was actually pretty good. They had it done by a shop out by Pierce College/Wynnetka area - next to a Home Depot.I can't recommend a finished car, but if you want a fairly decent body (quality wise - much thicker [3/16" - 1/4"] than most others I have seen ie. Top gun/IFG/D@R - almost like the buggies in the late 60's - 70's) that you can do a lot of mods to, it is prob. a good place to start, especialy at his prices, although you don't get much in the way of detail pieces. The interiors were slightly modified - door panels/center console/dash(used the stock inst. pod @ guages). He had a guy to do his interiors who would modify the Fiero seats to make them look better. They also used narrow tires with HUGE (3") wheel spacers and a drilled plate behind the wheel to make the brakes look bigger. Just trying to pass on accurate info to those who need it. Hope it helps.

A) Rumor has it that Luv 2 Shop received a full refund; it that true?
B) I've found that lots of sellers of one thing or another, when there's a problem, try to make things good - even if not perfect - with the buyer. Does this guy fall into that category?
C) Has anyone ever heard of a KitCar for a Spanish Pegaso, which was a sports car made in Spain in the mid-1900's?
Thanks, carbuffer
