Hey everyone.. im new to kit cars i have just recently found out about them... ive just finished school and getting started with a good job that pays quite good. Well i want to save enough money to buy a kit maybe in a years time or two. Im trying to figure out which manufacturers are good.. ive looked at SCE (shelby custom exotics) and their kits look damn good.. but theres also IFG.. their kits are good also and so are D&R's kits so im not sure which one i should go for. Anyway im thinking of buying some books on kit cars because im new to all this.. any good books i could buy? Also i want to buy a tube chassis from SCE since here in Australia i dont think there are any Fiero's that i could use as a donor. Thanks.

Even though I'm not exactly building a kit car, I found this book quite helpful:

The Car Builder's Handbook
Doug McCleary
ISBN: 1-55788-278-9

Amazon.com has it in stock BTW.
