I am not trying to single out RKS, but everyone needs to be aware that if and when you order something form them you best drive down and pick up your purchase and pay ONLY when you receive the items. If not you should draw up a contract that subtracts $$$ from the purchase each day your kit etc is late.I paid for products from RKS and was told they would be shipped within 48 hours. After a week of not receiving the items I decided to call...to my surprise no one answered for a few days and their voicemails were full...so I could not leave any messages. Makes me wonder how many other angry customers are trying to find out where their products are at. I finally talked to Bill and Derek and they told me they thought the products shipped. I wait another week and nothing. So I decide to call back and no one answers at the two phone numbers provided and I left numerous messages. Days later no one returns my calls. I found out that Roger(owner of RKS)ships his products from a car audio facility he owns. A guy named Brian runs Rogers' car audio shop and said that there is no record of anything being shipped out to me. So I call the 2 RKS numbers and of course no one answers either phone...and I leave more messages...so the saga continues. RKS has my money...and I am fighting tooth and nail to get my items. They just mislead you they have the products...take your money and make you put up a fight to get what you have already paid for. I am not saying you should not order from RKS...just beware that when they speak, half of what they say are lies...make a contract with RKS etc regarding shipping before you order anything...protect yourself!!!

Still not a single returned phone call. I have called and left messages twice a day for a week on both the phone numbers they list on their website. Anyone else delt with these guys? Has RKS heard of Customer Service? Does RKS even exist?

This is totally out of control! According to my cell phone bill I have called RKS a total of 86 times trying to find out the status of my products...At least half of those times I have left messages and about 4 of those times I have actually been able to speak with someone, about 20 of those times I could not leave messages because their voice mails were full. The 4 times I have spoken with someone they have just strung me along like a puppet(Told me what I wanted to hear).Johnnyboy, All the parts for your chassis and body can be found both cheaper and faster elsewhere than from RKS. You just have to do your homework...you will save thousands in the long run. I thought I would just pay a little extra so I didn’t have to do my homework...but I WAS WRONG. A few examples: RKS wants 150 for the fuel door...AutoZone is $35.00, JEGS Performance Auto Parts wants $50. RKS wants $975 for the Diablo coupe glass package, AGP wants $675. Does RKS have a right to a profit...of course! Does RKS have a right to a profit if they never ship your products...NO!!! Still not a single product and more promises broken. Think twice before you order anything from RKSDESIGN...or you may end up in my situation! END RANT!!!

countach i feel ya man.im stuck myself.not money wise but i had arranged to get with roger and have him build up my chassis so i could watch and learn without making huge mistakes.its seems ive made a mistake by buying this tube chassis and body from cory.for example i posted a help post on ************* to see if anyone had built a diablo in this configuration and i think i stirred a bees nest.these guys where pissed. they thought i was in some way hooked up with roger.i ran a test add on that web site to sell a chassis because i copied one and sold it.this guy jumped all over me.im stuck because this is my first build and i go to help websites like lambo lounge, but i need to see it done once to get an idea of what going on.well i have a while before im ready to do that and money talks.good luck with your deal man.your not alone.

I called the Anderson, SC Police dept today and told them that I wanted to report an internet fraud complaint about RKS Design. I was redirected to contact my local PD for the claim since I am the victim and you must file the complaint in the area where you are victimized etc. However, something noteworthy while I was on the phone with the Anderson, SC Police Dept... they informed me that I'm not the first to complain about thst company (RKS)...Hmmm, imagine that...the local PD already has a file on them???? So tomorrow I am contacting my local PD to file a claim....so the saga continues with RKS. What have I got myself wrapped up into?

Still not a single phone call from RKS. I have been scammed by Roger Shelton of RKS design. Talked to my police department and the officer suggested that I take it up with my credit card company first...if that does not work out then they will file the police report. I've now made over a hundred phone calls to this bogus company, and not a single product. I hope no one else has been scammed by RKS Design. Beware!!! I'll keep everyone informed to the outcome of my fraud claim with my credit card company.

Just a follow up. Still not a single returned phone call from RKS. However, I received a package of 1/2 the products I ordered and the other half...well who knows where they are. Now, the stuff I did receive is JUNK, unfinished, raw, and looks like somone dug it up out of my local landfill. Totaly unusable! I mean "TOTALY" unusable! Not one item of what was sent by RKS will be able to be used...they are crooked, warped, bent, flakey...you name it! I am going to ship what I got of my order back to Roger and demand a refund for everything.(Not that I would ever believe to receive anything back from him) I have never delt with such an unprofessional company in my life. So here I am months later, still at point A. I've had the aggrevation of getting my bank involved and my local PD. I have delt with Euroworks and IFG with satisfaction, but with my first experiances with RKS terrible service, they will never get a single red cent of my money ever again!!! All I can do is bag this as a bad experiance and move on... Best of luck to everyone else in the industry!!!

LOL If you deal with RKS and get burned...dont say I didnt tell you so. Goodluck with your kits! I'm working on my 4th and 5th build. |

FYI, for those who are unaware, Roger Shelton, aka RKS Design filed for bankrupcy earlier this year. Don't hold you breath for anything from him.
