Irst post...hello all.

I recently recieved this car as a charitable donation to the non-profit that I work for.

The car was built in 78" (title says special construction) It is built on a volks. frame and has a volks. engine. The body is fiberglass, and the car drives fine.

The people said that it cost them 25K to have it built in 78" (Sounds way high to me )


I have searched the net trying to find something similar so I would have some idea how much to ask for it, and could find nothing. I called an appraiser and he said no appraisers do kit cars.

Anyone have ANY idea what this thing is worth?

If you has some pictures then I could give you a guess, I have a friend that does appraisals, he can give you a better number then I can but 25K in the 70's got you into a cobra or better not a VW based kit.
