hello everyone.
i need your help.i have just completed making a tube chassis for a diablo project. i was going to trade my nissan for one,but i found a less than admirable response to my add.so i built one my self.my question is i had such a good time building it i am considering makeing this a buisness. my question to you all is what is a fair market price for these items. i saw one on ebay for 11,000 , but theres no way i could justify asking that much. my second question is i know there are many ways to build a diablo, but putting one on a fiero, and using that powerplant is rediculus. is there a large market for tube frame user out there. if so mine will except corvette sus and brakes and the ls-1 engine. your response is greatly appreciated.after viewing the data and getting things in place i hope to be up and running after my wedding in june.look for my frames in a couple months from jbl customs and exotics.

thanks

whats the difference from a fiero frame with a new ls-1 engine and a custom chassis with a new ls-1 engine. arent they the same thing? its pretty much new frame with new a engine or a old frame with a new engine. am i right?

i wasnt commenting on the tube chassis with fiero components .i was saying that to me just stretching a fiero and leaving the stock parts on it seems like a effort in futillity.i cant imagine spending fourty thousand dollar on a car and have a 190hp engine with a subpar suspension system on it im not into the all show and no go concept.my belief is that if your going to spend that kind of cash on a car it better be able out perform a lowly honda civic(no offence to you import guys but),i have tried to design my frames to somewhat be more like the original rather than the old way of the fiero.i think its time to evolve if your going to charge big money there should be a little bang for your buck.no knock on you guys that do it that way but it just seems outdated and cheap.im not trying to debate between the two i just want to try and offer a good product at a fair market price.that where i need your help.

true, i agree. a replica of a super car should be able to at least compete with mustangs , civics etc . otherwise its just dumb. imagine if your scared honda civic when you pull up next to it.
anyways on topic i know north american charges around 35k i think. maybe around that price if its all new parts?

From www.IFGOnline.com:

"Custom Tubular Chassis Front and Rear:
Wide-track tubular front slalom suspension along with a tubular

coil-overs with fully adjustable spring rate. The rear cradle
and frame completely tubular from the firewall on. It
features, the same High Quality Wilwood 12" brake system as

i have seen the frame from ifg.in my opinion it is an amazing concept.my product will consist of only the steel frame. i have found that many people like to customize on there own.my frame is off the blueprints of a concept by jim at tubular dynamics.i am estimating a selling price of around 3000-4000$ depending on time and demand.is that fair market price?
