G'day from downunder. I have spent several years developing a LS1 (or LS6) v8 trike which I hope to market as a kit. I have headed in a different direction to most trike designers in that I have kept it as short & as light as possible(11 feet long & under 1700 lbs) I am enclosing most of it with a futuristic looking body. It has been racetrack tested & obviously because of the power to weight ratio, has a bit of get up and go. Anyway, the powers that be in Australia, have moved the goalposts to make it as difficult as possible to licence. It will comply with any emission test, sound test, brake test, centre of gravity test etc. I am asking for any tips or advice on how to go about introducing it to the o/seas market. What do I have to do to comply with your regulations?
I appreciate any advice you can offer.
Thank you.

Sounds like one badass trike!.

The best way in my opinon to marked your trike is through the SEMA aftermarket show. I have no idea how to do so if anyone here could help?

Also a website helps if you can get one of those up and running easly you can market your trike that way. But its getting the attention of buyers is kind of a problem doing it like that. Du Pont registry is yet another way to attract buyers. Its a book that exotic car buyers and kitcar builders read each month that shows whats hot on the hot car market. i have seen some bikes and trikes in there before perhaps you can contact them and put your trike in there within the next issue. But im not 100% sure how to do that can someone help out?

why are repilcas so expensive?!Go to Top of Page
