Hi,
I`m working in both 911 turbo and 356A COUPE 1957, do you think there is a market for both cars?
Best Regards

I think there would be for the 356 coupe. I would rather a coupe to build than a speedster.

The 356, yes, the 911 no, unless you can find a way to make the 911, 930, 993, etc; look like the 996 or 997.

I would agree with the other replies. A 356 Coupe would likely be a welcome addition to the kitcar world.

The 911 on the other hand has already been done from the point of view that it is relatively inexpensive to pick up an older 911 and buy parts from any number of suppliers. If you pick up a copy of Excellence magazine and leaf through the ads you'll see lots of them.

If on the other hand your considering something special in regards to modern Porsches, then perhaps there is a market. The 911 GT1-98 has not been done. Or has the GT1-97. Pauls Exotics does a GT1-96. The never built 980 is also a possibility. As is a closer replica of the Carrera GT (Triangle does one, but it is on a Fiero chassis, so is too short).

The Dauer 962 has never been done.

The other option would be do do something that is insprired by the "look and feel" of Porsche, but is your own. Not sure what that would be, although I have some ideas...

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth, your mileage may differ..

I like the 356 cupé kit. But why not develop it using the Combi mechanicals and chassis if possible?
