i was very curious why we all want a kitcar so bad that we will try to do anything to own one which might be only a shell with a giveaway fiero interior which will look like crap or pay around 75-100k to get a very well looking kitcar with a great interior , engine covers etc. then after we get the car in about 6-12 months then no longer want it. ive seen this over and over again. they will always come up with a fake reason such as i want to buy a real one (yeah right)or i want a different kitcar which is possible but very unlikey. its a huge trend to get the car you want then about a year later they always dont want it anymore. what i think is the real reason is that its something that we want so bad , we dont stop and think about it. the real reason is most likely 1) owners no longer have interest in the car anymore after a year, 2) the owner needs the money and decide its better to get the money back. 3) its not worth it , because the car just sits there and not driven enough ,but you still get a killing from all types of car payments . 4) the people that got the shell cant afford any type of repairs for the used up fiero , to keep up with repairs or people all over knows its fake with the fiero guages and iterior . thats what i think is the case. what do you think?

All the sports cars are a shell with some crap in the interior. It is obvious that the shell matters a lot, very far from a good engine, and a comfortable interior. You never constructed something by your own like this. You dont know the feeling to start with a paper and end driving your car, because its yours. The people that sell their the kit car, is the people who bought an turnkey(or they are on fire needing the money).www.sherklein.com.ar

HAHA i hear that! also as its been said allready its the hunt and probly just as much the proccess, the person who builds it discovers its more fun building the car then actually owning it and drivign it, so they keep it for a month and then sell it, buy a different one (to challenge themselfs on a different model) and then so on and so forth me personapply i think it would both be fun, the building, and the owning Maybe im just an attention whore Matt '96 Jaguar XJ6(burgundy) '93 Dodge Stealth ES '83 Jaguar XJ6(hunter) '80 Mercedes-Benz 300CD '77 MG B soon to be mine 00-01 S2000 AUG-NOV(ok ok maybe not till jan) |

Ambition drives us to surpass ourselves.Once we have accomplished our goal we create a new one... my next progect is already in line for when I finish the diablo....and it's not a car...as I decided to build this car, lots of the components for my next progect will appear...

haa yea iv read that, but recently hes become a crook, he tried to get me to to pay $20,000-$40,000 for a "real estate course" but all it was, was a phone help line?and as the other real estate books Robert's written, most of them suggest using bank fraud to buy the property but as for multiple streams of income buy robert g allen i highly suggest it also, it can help u out alot not just on the financial end sorry to get off topic Matt '96 Jaguar XJ6(burgundy) '93 Dodge Stealth ES '83 Jaguar XJ6(hunter) '80 Mercedes-Benz 300CD '77 MG B soon to be mine 00-01 S2000 AUG-NOV(ok ok maybe not till jan) |

Seriously most of us upgrade, I sold my 917 to get a Riot, which is now getting finished, then bought a 356 and finished that and now I drive a very well self sorted cobra. I am going to buy a unfinished diablo soon and then sell that and move on to something like a full one off. I would really like to build that Lexus from minority report one day. There are a bunch on people on the board who also buy and sell kit cars for fun. Also most people who have the cash to have a second or in my case 5th car like to trade them around for something new ever ~8-12 months. We simply can afford it, and cars are a hobby. 88 Mera GTS.
