THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY BRUCE. I CERTAINLY KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. SINCE YOU ARE THE ONLY REPLY OF OVER A 100 READERS. THIS LEADS ME TO BELIEVE OTHERS ARE NOT GETTING THEIR MAGS. BY THE WAY IF YOU HAVE THE DEC 2003 ISSUE CAN YOU TELL WHERE I CAN FIND THE DETAILS OF THE CAR ON THE COVER. THANKS.

BRUCE I DO NOT KNOW THE NAME OF THE CAR. IT IS ON THE COVER. IT LOOKS LIKE DEC 2003 ON THE SMALL PICTURE I HAVE. IT COULD BE 2002. THE ARTICLE IS MIRACH OF MODERN SCIENCE A TRULY NOVEL APROACH TO KIT CAR STYLE. THE CAR IS A DARK COLOR OPEN WHEEL CONVERTIBLE. THE TAG ON THE FRONT IS A721SDF. IT LOOKS SIMILAR TO A PROWLER. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

I think there's more than one 'Kit Car' magazine. The one I receive is only every other month, produced by Primedia. I have the Nov and Jan 2003 issues in front of me - Boyd Cottington's Cobra on the one; the T-70 on the other. Looked thru my back issues, and can't find the cover at question - think it's possible that there are a few cover variations??

Thanks Bruce and Rick. It very well could be 2002. I'm having the same luck with the issue problem and they certainly are not shy about the frequent notices for renewal cancellation.

jr2004,

Unable to locate copy of KitCar magazine to which you are referring, but based on your description does sound like the car may very well be a "Growler" If so, the kit is produced by Lone Star Classics located in Ft. Worth, TX. and their website address is:

http://www.lonestarclassics.com/

Also, located writeup for the "Growler" in KitCar magazine with the following web address:

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. THE CAR THAT I'M LOOKING FOR IS NOT THE GROWLER. THE ISSUE WITH THE CAR I'M INTERESTED IN MUST BE THE DEC 2002 ISSUE. THE CAR IS ON THE COVER.
