HELLO ALL, JUST BECAME A MEMBER AND I AM VERY NEW TO BUILDING EXOTIC REPLICAS I AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON A LAMDO ROADSTER,GOD WILL I SHOULD BE DONE SOON.I NOW HAVE THE BUILDING BUG.I SEARCHED THE INTERNET FOR MY ULTIMATE DREAM CAR THE MCLAREN F-1 AND I CAME UP WITH ONLY ONE RESULT A COMPANY CALLED DDRMOTORSPORTS.THE PROTOTYPE LOOKS AS THOUGH ITS NOT COMPLETE.I THEN TRIED TO EMAIL THEM AN IT WAS SENT BACK.I HOPE MCLAREN HAS NOT PUT THE KABOSH ON SUCH A WONDERFUL PROJECT ALTHOUGH IM GOING TO SCHOOL TO BE A PHARMASIST I CANT IMAGINE WORKING TEN YEARS TO BE ABLE TO BUY THE CAR OF MY DREAMS.IF ANYONE HAS INFO ABOUT THE STATIS OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR PROJECT PLEASE EMAIL ME AT JOHNNYBOY0477@AOL.COM.

If you goto www.kitcar.ca theres a tread that shows the buildup and also the builder himself post there. He is also working on a En..zo replica as well. He said sometime next month the Mclaren F1 kit should be avalable as a turnkey. Also theres another company whos also working on a Mclaren F1 lookalike and thats MR2 based. I cant remember but it should be for sale by next year. Just go over to the web site i listed and from there you should beable to contact them

thank you for your reply about trying to find a company that offers a builders kit for the mclaren f-1.im finding it hard to navigate the web site you offered.please forgive my lack of knowledge but is their alternative way to find this info.

yeah that site has everything , i use both sites as well. all popular kit models are there with tons of pics! very helpful as well.
