has anyone purchased the kit to adapte a LS1 to a 915 porsche tranny?

The 915 is simply not rated for the torque of SBC-any turbo model Porsche gearbox 4, 5 or 6 speed is strong enough and the stock gearing is very close to what you will need. The G50/52 is the most common Porsche transaxle being used for these conversions.
