HEy guys how you doing?! Im a automotive student from HOlland and Im building a car that I've developt my self. Now im searching for a nice body to put on it. I want a viper body. Where can I buy a viper body. Im like bulding a viper replica haha. I just want the body because the rest of the car is far more special then a normal viper.Ive bult a car with 2 engines. Both angines are 600 cc twin turbo engines. They are rotary engines from the mazda rx-7 hihi.600 hp on 1600 pounds. Can somebody tell me where I can buy a viper body??? Thanks |

www.fierofactory.com offers a viper replica based on a corvette chassis. they also got lots of bodys for fieros. www.realcoolcars.com/vetper they also offer them but they dont look as good as the other bodys offerd by fierofactory. they got the viper rt10, and the gts body both are corvette based.why are repilcas so expensive?!

I happen to have one of the Vetper GTS kits in my garage, including Viper rims. My problem is I haven't gotten around to this project, doubt I will based upon current events and am now looking to sell my parts. If you're interested, I can sell you my Vetper parts at less than what you can get them from Realcoolcars. Let me know if you might be interested and we can talk off-line.

I know the Fierofactory is still in. because i E-Mailed them about a month agowhy are repilcas so expensive?!

I too thought Vetper was finally closed by Diamler-Chrysler for not meeting the minimum percent difference. I was told by that I got one of their last kits. I was surprised to see the link posted by Pantera and that someone was selling them again. Dodge Viper Replica was not their company name when I purchased my kit. I have not tried to contact them to see if they are truly in business again or not.

I've e-mailed photos out to everyone who has asked, but to let you all know, these kits are just the fiberglass body parts and some reinforcement pieces. The adhesive, lights, vent covers and side mirrors are not included. This is a direct body panel replacement kit for 1984-1996 Corvettes. The Viper lights and vent covers are easily obtainable from a salvage yard dealing in Vipers and the side mirrors are the same ones used on the Mitsubishi 3000 / Dodge Stealth. If you want Viper rims, you have to utilize adapters to get the lug patterns to work.

Cheapest way to get the lamps are through salvage yards. There are even some who specialize in Vipers. A search engine will be a useful tool to find some of the larger places. Your other option is to buy new and that you can do from any Dodge dealer. Again, you can find them on-line as well as many parts shops who deal in OEM parts. The searches aren't too difficult, just finding the right place that happens to have the particular part your looking for can be hard and frustrating at times. Don't forget to check with your local sources as they may have access to places and parts you won't find in the on-line world.
