i was just wondering if it would be possible to twin turbo the 2.8 liter fiero engine if i were to build the internals. If not, does anyone know where i can get a supercharger kit for the stock 2.8 liter engine. Please dont suggest the 3.8 s/c or just dropping a v8 into it. I wanna do something different, not average. I would really like to go with the twin turbo. Any help would be appreciated. |

Yeah, you can twin trubo a fiero 2.8 liter engine. I do believe that the stock V6 engine and its a sohc. It looks like you want to run high boost, you will find a lot of problems trying to run high boots on a stock engine like for 1 if you do run it somewhere like 14 to 16 psi your clucth will slip or you will have a blown engine in the worst case. But if you really want to twin trubo it I would go to a machine shop and have them make a custon manifold for your engine. The most psi I have seen on any stock engine is 12 psi and thats really pushing it.

www.electricsupercharger.com This is the only supercharger I could find with a short search on the web. I did find the following website http://www.fierosails.com/fierosecrets.html That has links to just about anything else you could want. I hope you do find a twin turbo kit, that would be awsome. Keep in mind, you will need to have forged pistons, solid connecting rods, and a Bullet proof bottom end to really turn up the boost. There are a ton of companys out there that will make a custom kit for you. This will more than likely be very pricey. Let us know how your search turns out.

Paul, do not make smack you, the Eram toy is a piece of garbage.as far as twin turboing the 2.8 fiero engine, umm sure. pontiac had a few prototype 2.9L with turbo's for the next model year that never happened, GM axed the project because the Fiero would have been faster than the vette at half the price. hey look, turbo kit: http://members.shaw.ca/turbofiero/Manual.htm a twin would be a pain in the butt, no need anyway, and the space constraints are annoying. -K
