does anyone know if original 1952 MG-TD tops will fit MIGI kit cars made by Daytona ? ( i understand that they used many original MG parts when they made the kits even down to fender molds)
or would i have to go to local custom shop and have one made ?

Not sure but I know most local upholstery shops can fabricate one using you old one as a pattern. If you don’t have one at all, I found a site that custom makes them. I have never used them so don’t know the quality of the work first hand or the price for that matter. You can find them here http://www.mrstitch.com/mg.htm Second, MG Magic in FL sells them. With or without the bows. They do not have a web site and can be difficult to get a hold of. Leave a message and they will get back to you. There is also a new site for MGTD Kit car owners. http://www.mgclub.devineweb.com. And there is also a mail list on Yahoo.Groups. Hope this helps.. FrankieD
