I have found the kit i want it is based on the Geo Metro wich has a 3 cylinder engine at 71bhp. The metro with the kit's fiberglass body weighs just unger 1400ibls. So my question is what is a small cheap engine that would be easy to tune to around 118bhp. I want to use the same principle as the Lotus elise the 1995 lotus elise only had only 118bhp engine and weighed around 1400ibls. but the new elises use bmw 1.8 liters @ 190bhp. whell the sport 190 elise does.
