Is there any vendors of chassis plans out there?? I'm looking for some CAD drawings for an mid-engine, 2 seater, 2500mm (approx) wheelbase, flat6 or VAG power, chassis. Tube frame. I don't want to buy the frame, just the CAD drawings so we can fab our own chassis. Any leads / url's / etc appreciated. Trevor

try this bloke, artworkbybrian@hotmail.com I understand he can sell you an autocad file of a diablo space frame, and he resides in toronto , at least he did the last time i got an email from him.

If I may ask.... what is your relationship with NAERC ?? Secondly, I'm not planning a Lambo build.... Trevor

I have no relationship wit Naerc I just know that they are one of the best companies to deal with and have the chassis plans you are looking for. If you visit www.kitcentral.com (diablo builder's forum) you will find a great deal of information on the company and how highly they are viewed. www.powerhousesports.net |

I registered on kitcentral, looks like there is info that is useful for any kit / custom / replica project there... thx for that lead also....... Trevor

I have 3 projects yet. One of these is real exotic sport car,but the design ot exterior and chassis is under secret. I realy can make chassis design for 1 day,but you can tell me basic dimensions of your car. And what is the first importance for you-safety,or speed? In my opinion,the safety of the passengers is too important.
What is the engine that you will use in the car?

It will likely be a 3.2 ltr 911 engine and G50 transaxle. Although I may have a V8 Audi engine/transaxle available (not sure yet if I can get my hands on that one yet.) General parameters are:
wheelbase of 2350 to 2500 mm
track of 1500-1600 mm
mid engine as to general layout.... think mid-90's sports LM sports car (ie, McLaren F1, Porsche GT1, Bugatti EB, etc.........)
