Well you should look at the BMW website at Transmission options for the 3 series or M.

Click customize and go to options

sorry my mistake, i do remember now, i met a guy not too long ago who had an M3, which i think it is standard on?! not sure though. he showed me the launch control that was built in! although it said in the manual not to use it!!! but i cant see why it would be too dificult, an adapter plate might do it, if no you can always get a bellhousing cast!

Thank you very much, do you know if this is a difficult process (IE hard to find a guy to cast it or is it expensive? (I do not know very much about these things)

Thank you, in advance

i know a person who had a bellhousin cast and it cost about £600, about $1000, and that was cast in magnesium and was machined aswell. it is expensive but is the best way of doing it. the adapter plate is possible, your best bet is to do some drawings of the end face of the engine and of the gearbox and bellhousing, take all your clutch dimensions and see if its possible to align boltholes or fit a plate with the holes in. it may also be possible to take both bellhousings, the one with the engine and the one with the gearbox and cut and shut them together. it is crude, but possible!
