To all experts. I own 1995 Pontiac Trans AM Convertible. Recently, I had a car accident and the mechanic said that car need to be streched. I don't even know what that means, but I know that will cost a lot (around $2500). He said, as well that this car has a unibody and that this type of body is not good idea to stretch. Bottom line he suggested me to junk the car. Car is running great (L1 engine with 124000 mil) and it is in a absolutely perfect condition inside and out (after the accident, I have to replace front bumper and left fender). My question is, could this type of body be streched and would be worth do in it?
