I have been wanting to build cars and bikes forever now. Unfortunately, I am not around anyone who knows anything about mechanics. I can do basic maintenance but, that's about it.
I want to put together a 1937 chevy coupe legend kit car. That's my main goal. Is the best thing to do, just to buy the kit car and go through the manual? Should I take some basic courses? Are there courses I can take that don't force me to get an entire certification?

Any help would be great
thanks, Stephan
