Is anyone familiar with the Stalker V6 ? It's an all American interpretation of the classic Lotus/Caterham 7 and is powered by a Chevy V6 sourced out of an S10 pick-up or base model Camaro. I am really interested in getting into this hobby and I think this is a fine car to get into cut my teeth having a good value as well as super performance potential for driving schools and autocrossing. I am curious to know if anyone on the boards has one ... how he or she registered it and if they had to deal with emissions and safety regulations ? I want one but there are so few of them out there so I've never seen one ... much less driven one so anyone who knows anything about this car ... I'd love it if you could share some of the builind/ownership/driving experience with me.

PS ... any other affordable (not caterham) Lotus Seven style kits worth considering that are not one-ofs ?
