Does, anybody know if there is a kit for the GT90? I have found countless GT40 kits, but not a GT90. If, not a kit for a GT90 then any information related to the car would greatly be apreciated. I'm not to concerned with how small an amount of information or how large. Otherwise, if I'm just fishing for something that may not exist, then I'll just have to take step to build my own. So again any information would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Ive never seen a GT90 kit before, I dont think there ever was a reproduction as the 'real' car never got past concept stage (Ive only seen 3D models) and it never was put into production. A GT90 kit would be very cool, maybe the NAERC chassis would work (it will fit a v12).

The biggest hurdles for making your own would be getting the dimensions exact (if your doing one, at least do it right) and the glass canopy.

Maybe Meat has an opinion on this?

I wanted a GT90 so bad I even wrote a letter to Kit Car mag years ago that was published. I never found anyone willing to tackle such a job.

I think a kit of the Ford Indigo would even be a wilder kit with a few mods...http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/cars/indigo.html

Well, for anyone that doesn't know what the GT90 looks like here you go.

http://www.conceptcarz.com/folder/vehicle.asp?car_id=408&autoShowID=&vehicleTypeID=0

Yes. the canopy would be difficult but, I bleieve that I have found a company willing to take it on, just waiting for a reply. As far as dimensions go for the entire vehicle, I have written to ford managed to get a few extra dimensions that I didn't have before, but still trying to get more information to get more precise on the geometry of the varying faces on the car. But again, knowing somebody has helped and an old computer geek buddy of mine has done some work with shadow and feature recongintion to get some measurments that seem to be quite accurate so far, on a 1:12 scale model (No pictures yet). If anybody has any other ideas on how to get more precise information,(say like out of FoMoCo) please let me know.

Again, Thanks in advance.

Well, I appreciate that but, I already have one. I even wrote to the manufacturer to see where they got the dimensions for the model since they claim they are accurate. All I got in response to my letter was, they obtained the information from the manufacturer, but would not say how or anything else about it. I just wanted to know if they had to pay for rights to reproduce the model in scale or not. And, if so then I would have tried to do so myself. No luck down that avenue. I do have a question, does anyone no how I can find out what happened to the 7 prototypes that where built. If so then maybe I can find some way to get measurements of the real thing. Anyway, when I got the measurement of the model they weren't to scale with the general measurments that FoMoCo gave me or the other measurements that I already had. We even cross referenced them with different scale sizes. Although they 1:12 scale that I assembled from the surface points taken from pictures were extremely accurate to what I already had.

Okay, it appears that, there are no other ideas for possile solutions from anyone here that has viewed this posting. So now I will put forth yet another question. Does anyone have any other links to other forums or websites that might be useful to my situation?
