Well a BMW V12 would be my first pick for the Zonda, They are fairly cheap now days. With a ZF or G50 trans, I've seen the 915 used before "and work for easy driving" buuut if you have a heavy right foot you can follow the oil streak back to your diff thats on the ground. BMW 850? or C4-C5 Corvette suspension. As for the chassis, I shure you'll have to build a space frame. The Vanquish look promising, I'm thinking on ordering a set up, $30 aint bad.

Well, there aren't any cars that lend themselves to the body lines of the Zonda; the cockpit is pretty tight in, and the length is unusual. You may be able to use a stretched Fiero, but that may be about it. You'd be better off going with either a completely custom chassis or adapting something like the IFG Diablo chassis (although the Diablo wheelbase is 4" shorter than the Zonda, the Diablo overall length is 5" longer than the Zonda). As far as engines go, it all depends on what you're going to do with the car. If you're going to sell kits in the U.S., then you'd best put a either a Ford or a Chevy V8 and an Audi 016 in it because those are the easiest combos to pick up over here. If you're making a one off...it's up to you. I'd probably stay away from the BMW engine though; it's got a whole lot of electrical equipment and sensors to sort out. Or short out. Whichever. Go with an engine that's cheap and plentiful and you'll be happy driving your car. Get yourself an exotic powerplant and you'll spend your entire tenure as owner chasing down expensive bugs. I'd be less concerned up front about the chassis, interior or even body...I'd be most concerned with figuring out where you're going to get the glass for the windshield, top and sides... Your pal, Meat.

The cost would be too high as a one of,and a replica of any ******* as a kit can't be advertised or *******'s lawyers will shut you down,so you have to sell them underground, which most likely will take a long time to get back your development costs. The original "TRADE DRESS" lawsuit won by ******* OVER TOM McBURNIE in the late eighties set the precedent for any car manufacturer to get you shut down from replicating any of thier cars, old or new,but you start replicating current high end sports or supercars you are asking for the lawsuit that WILL follow, the copyright laws about making a percentage of changes dosen't apply,if they convince a judge it looks enough like thier car the general public will think it's real you're screwed!! waste of time and money developing the kit!!
