Is anyone producing a late 50s or early 60s Corvette kit car I have seen the 53 kits but don't really care for that body style. I heard of a 62 kit but understand that it has been cancled or discontinued. I would sure appreciate any information anyone could provide me.
Thanks,

David.

Well, there was a '67 Replica called the Reflection Series I - but it wac purchased by Ck3...which means it no longer exists.

There was also D&D Corvette who made a replica of the '63 Grand Sport, but they've evaporated as well. ERA was supposed to make a replica of the Grand Sport based on this setup as well. Never materialized.

The problem is that kit cars usually end up at around $25-$30K, which (fortunately or unfortunately) is about the price of a pretty nice early Corvette. So it's economically nonfeasible to make a replica of a car that you can buy that has the provenance of actually BEING the real car.

I'm sure that's probably not the answer you were looking for, and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but on an up note, there are plenty of "real" Corvettes out there!

Your pal,
Meat.
