Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a reputable online site or preferably retail store that sells exact proportion and highly detailed scale models of exotic cars such as the Enzo, Gallardo, Murci, Carrera GT, etc. I have seen Sharper Image carry all of the cars mentioned except for the Enzo which is the car I am really looking for. These cars at Sharper Image seem to be very detailed and am wondering if they are as good as they get or if there are better and bigger scale models out there without breaking the bank. I'd really like to have the Enzo and have seen the 1/5 scale model but don't want to spend $3K + for the model. Can anyone suggest a place to get an authentic, highly detailed (interior, engine, etc) Enzo scale model that has fully functional doors, hood, etc.? Thanks in advance.

If you needed 3d model(3s file,not real scale model),see www.3d02.com
The 3d models of Enzo looking beautiful, but the shape is not authentic and some polygons are worst.I can make for you custom 3d design of a ******* Enzo(or car with my own design)from real blueprints (3d model will be 99,9% authentic) for $150.The file format is 3ds,3dm,max,lwo,DWG and etc...

1:18 scale cars can range in price from $12.99 to over $100 per unit, depending on the number of units built, the detail, etc.

Hot Wheels had a nice 1:18th scale Enzo out there - I don't know if it's still available, though.

If you're looking for cars like the ones offered by Sharper Image, try Toys R Us; they offer the same cars, usually at about half the SI price.

If you want highly detailed cars, you need to steup up to cars from companies like Exoto (and their starting prices are usually around $70!)

Hope that helps.

Meat.

I purchased a FLY 1/24 slot car to try and scale a body.
Although not exact,(things like body seams, latches, ect will never be detailed enough) I thought the detail was good to the point of scaling the body profile.
Cost about $45 us that included overseas mail
