Ok... first off... I did not design this car, I stumbled upon it by accident and pure luck. I really like this design and thought it would be an amazing kit and conversation piece for the forum. What are your thoughts?http://www.powerhousesports.net/concept/ www.powerhousesports.net

OK, wow that is insane. Suits its influences and kind of reminds me of the Gallardo also. Where do people come up with these designs!?

It seems like a lot of 3D stuff are surfacing here on the forum. I am 3D artist, and has been modelling cars for various companies for some time, including bikes too.Is there a market for someone like to to offer such 3D service to the kit community?

This art project, while impressive, is too angular for my tastes. For me, a car must have more curves - like a woman's body. Note I termed this an "art project" and not an exercise in auto design. Auto design requires both left brain artistic ability combined with right brain knowledge of engineering and functionality. Some aspects of this art that are in conflict with engineering and/or functionality: Doors: In one rendering appears doors will not open as shown and in all renderings doors cannot open far enough to provide easy entry or exit. Also, viewing the various side and profile renderings, I see no way that windows would seal with roofline when doors are closed. Engine Access: Based on the number of scoops show in rear area of this vehicle, appears it is intended to be mid or rear engine. If so, none of the artistic renderings provide for adequate access to engine compartment. Rear visibility: Many existing cars have extremely limited rear visibility, but this art has none with exception of door mirrors. I am not sure if this would pass test of street legal; however, if it did, then at least incorporate a video monitor into dash to afford rear visibilty. Headlight design: Even with projector beams, healight openings are not large enough to spread light beam for nightime driving. Windshield/roof glass: Artwork assures an interior compartment that would be a "hot house". Better have industrial size A/C and sunblock if driving anywhere where the sun is shinning or the temperature is warm. Spoiler: With shape of roof line and air scoops why bother with a spoiler that will have minimal contact with any airflow. Plus,as best I can see, artwork makes no provision for attachment of spoiler to the vehicle. Air exhaust over whidshield and along doors. Assuming likelihood of front mounted radiator, with hot air venting over windshield and along doors, no need for functional windows unless there is desire for and external heater. There are additional conflicts that now escape me without going back to again review the artwork. While I applaud the creator for his artistic and computer abilities, more effort is necessary before he is competent at auto design. Mike

Mike, I agree with a good number of what you have said but I will comment on a few things..... quote: Doors: In one rendering appears doors will not open as shown and in all renderings doors cannot open far enough to provide easy entry or exit.
This has been the case for a great deal of cars such as Lambos, McLaren f1 or even the Manta mirage. although at some point one can get in the car, lambada lessons tend to be required. quote: Windshield/roof glass: Artwork assures an interior compartment that would be a "hot house". How can you explain the new 911 targa, T-Tops of yesterday (camaros, Trans Am etc..) I think with the proper treatment a glass roof can be fully functional and comfortable. Otherwise someone should have told Porsche that they are cooking their drivers! I wonder how these manufacturers make it work? http://www.renault.com/img/gamme/images/scenic2_ext5.jpg http://content2.us.porsche.com/prod/911/targa.nsf/0/3AF313E5A574C6D9C1256DBF004B2A7F/ http://www.cadillac.com/images/models/srx/gallery/photoExt2_med.jpg quote: Rear visibility: Many existing cars have extremely limited rear visibility, but this art has none with exception of door mirrors
Like the Lamborghini’s, Ultima, Mercedes gtr, Porshce GT1(OH NO …. Porsche screwed it up again) Cameras can be placed in its place.None the less this only a concept design…it only exists on paper or computer. Such things like working the engine access and proper door alignment can be worked out. Plus this design isn’t for everyone… some like the classic curves of the cobra and jags, some like the smoothness of diablos and Porsche, other like a few sharp angles like the enzo. Left or right brian…. This car can be done. www.powerhousesports.net

hey everybody!....i think this is a pretty neat concept. but IMO...i think the front lights screams "murcielago" except its thinner...the side air ducts resemble an enzo..the top roof line has a Veyron scheme to it...and the back looks like an audi with mazda rx-8 rear lights...but over all....*thumbs up*

I cant say I like it, it looks like it was designed using just a ruler. I think its too extreme for me, but its more tasteful than a Vector or Edonis (that Bugatti based dealy) so its not that bad.If its affordable and fast, I cant see whay it wouldnt succeed in this buisness. Too bad its just a rendering. JTX |

this is a great design and I am really interested in getting one or investing in the production of the company.

Looks tooo much of a kit car even before it is converted into a real kit car. I would stay away.If you can Dream-it you can Build-it |
