I have seen the minotaur at a show in the uk. It was however when they had only just brought it out & although it looked very striking when you first looked, in my opinion they hadnt managed to actually finish it, yet were offering it as a kit. I dont know who is marketing it at the moment but when i enquired they did not seem helpful at all. They glossed over facts like there was nowhere to store the windows when they were removed & that the doors would drain into the cockpit instead of outside etc. Since then I have seen another version as roadster built by another company which they would not let you look at the running gear & wasnt actually a runner. Minotaur were also supposed to be going for a speed record or something but I never heard anything more about that. Also from what i can tell all the cars i have seen over the years appear to be the same one just slightly modified(new wing etc. etc.) in my opinion not a good sign. I have never seen any pics of any customer built cars either so ask to speak to others who have built or see pics of their cars before buying. Still since I havent seen them recently perhaps they have improved it.

although you can still get the minotaur at http://www.minotaursportscars.co.uk/ the project was partly bought by a company called lamberti (http://www.lamberti.co.uk/) cars. they have imporved that car unbelibley much and have since moved production to italy where they are planning/or have put to into mainstream car production and the last i heared was that the car is now only available in turnkey form.

Hi, UK Here
I have telephoned Minotaur with regard to building one of there kit cars, I left messages on the telephone but to no avail?
There are two phone numbers and one will not go through and the other is a chap who clearly has no time to let you know about the teq side of this kit car. I got the correct number and was told that John who is the BOSS? DESIGNER? is away for at least 10 days so no joy there.
To my mind they are far from making an impression in the UK let alone anywere else!

Minotaur Sports Cars are located in Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppy in the UK, Although they have agreat looking product they have no idea on giving info and telling you the facts.
This company i don't even think have yet a car that has gone through SVA testing and untill they sort them selves out i would leave well alone!
Due to the fact that Minotaur Sports Cars can't get it together, i have decided to build another kit car.
