Hi to all, Does anyone know of a kit manufacturer that makes '58 or late 50's corvette kits? I would like to start one and have it completed for my wife for our 15th anniversary..I have 2 years to build it.
Any help is appreciated...Thanks Ed

Well, to be perfectly honest, you're probably going to be into the car a good 30-50K to build a kit of a Corvette. Not only that, but the older Corvette kits are harder and harder to come by, and they all use original Corvette parts anyway.

My recommendation would be to buy a real Corvette; the 57 - 59 Corvettes can be had for reasonable (around $20-30K depending on condition) money. These cars are non-matching numbers cars, some are modified, but they're all nice cars. They're just not "original" all the time.

Your pal,
Meat.
