I'm in the planning stages of building a concept car. One question has always been in the back of my mind. The car calls for a unique shape. How do I get glass made for it? Or do I have to settle for something that already exists? I've looked at several sites that have claimed to have built their cars from scratch, but they never mention how they got their glass. Any answers will be greatly appreciated.
I work for a windshield manufacturer in Australia and we have done many projects for concept cars here. the legend is formulated on either one offs or quantities of 10 to 20 units depending on your budget. is it possible to approach a similar manufacturer in the states?

it depends on the shape of the glass and whether you want ceramic black edges and so on but it ranges between $3000 and $4500. AUD
