I have noticed that a lot of kits out there are talking about fitting a `stretched' Fiero. Can someone please tell me what this entails?
Thanks
Fred

Basically, what your doing is stripping the fiero down to the chassis and cutting it in half and applying tubing or strech plates to the chassis to make it longer. That way the kit can be fitted to the chassis. I don't know the length of the fiero chassis but I think it's roughly 6 inches shorter than needed for a lambo. Depending on your choice of kit determines the amount of the strech.

If I'm wrong, guys help me out. I'm still a novice myself.

Yes, chat, you got it right. The cut is behind the cabin and the stretch is approx. 6 in as you said.I am not sure if the treatch is the same for C/T or Diabo kits, the real diablo chassis is a few in. longer than the real C/T. In some cases there are non-stretched C/T kits but they just dont look as good as the stretched versions, but building them takes less time and effort and from afar they can look qite convincing.

Hey just saw that for a Contach its a 6 in. stretch and for a Diablo its a 10.5 in. operation.
