Is this different enough from the lamborghini kit to not be called a lamborghini kit? I don't mind people seeing lamborghini influences but I don't want to drive down the street and people think I was trying to make an accurate copy of the diablo and just messed up. I really like the idea of making up my own emblems too. Thanks for any input, Scott

Well its interesting, thats for sure! I cant say I would choose this over a Lamborghini Diablo kit, but I sure do like those headlamps. Not to be rude or anything, and I can see the finished product wouldnt look like this, but why didnt you start from scratch? I wouldve, I think the stretched fiero provides a long enough wheelbase for a very clean looking design, and with a low roofline and wide stance the design can have a very agressive stance. I would like to see a shorter rear overhang (if possibe) and a bit more differentiation in the roofline, but youre on the right track. Remember: The most memorable designs never looked perfect on the first try. Remember te Lamborghini prototypes for the Diablo and Canto (the canto was replaced by the Murcielago far before production was started)? Now look at the finished product of the Diablo (the canto was never radically changed, but its easy to see why it was never produced, it was never clean enough for the required italian look) and compare it to the prototypes. With that said, I think what your design needs most is some refining. Then, well, see what people think it is : a plastic bodied VW (ok maybe that was a bad example...but you get the point) or a expensive Italian exotic?

The car on top only has a 93.4" wheelbase, the same as a stock fiero. It will also accept the stock fiero windshield and have doors that open horizontally like a traditional vehicle. I like the saleen S7 and that is what influenced the long rear overhang, plus it makes the stubby fiero wheelbase look a little longer. I do still have time to make it a roadster though. Here is a pic. Does it look any better? Thanks, Scott
