I don´t remember a topic about Lightwave but one about Rhino 3D. You will need two other programs: vivwizard and Carcad just to extract the mesh. You can download them from the net. Best regards,Juan

The post was titled: ASTON MARTIN V12 VANQUISH and is a few pages long. I tried the procedure myself but I had some difficulties with Rhino. It wouldn open some *.3ds files (it even happened that I was able to import certain *.3ds file into it, but then a few days later I got some "error in 3ds file" kind of message). So anytime I opened a new file I had to resave it in Rhino format. The problem is that there are only 25 saves available in the evaluation version. There has been some talk about a patch that can "fix" this, does anyone knows where it could be downloaded?

Man, Id be carful investing alot of time in that if your planning a kitcar; First off NFS models look off by alot and the detail is not that great. Second, you can't blow up and iges file that big without getting major distortion in the polygons. I have talked to numerous experts about this and there conclution was that it would have to be transfered to several different programs and alot of free hand would be involved. Also I was given a quote of like $3500 to resurface a model and blow it up. If you are set in doing this though, I would recomend www.3do2.com They have alot of cars including *******'s.Ask me about porsche 993 and 996 kits. |

Any game models are not necesarily accurate. The goal of game models is simply to give the illusion of the prefered vehicle you are driving. Complete accurate 3d files ,and sometimes authentic files can be located. expect to pay roughly 10 to 12 thousand depending on the car. For example, I have located the Authentic Gallardo files and they have been priced at 11,00.00 for everything (exterior, interior, chassis, wheels, etc.) except the engine and transmission is not included.www.powerhousesports.net |

Hi, I can create for you hi-quality custom 3D model ("3DS MAX 4" format-the files are "3ds"/"max") with high detailed polygonal mesh. The model may be real or designing from me(I have a great abilityes),and includes body, shasis, wheels.Tell me recuired dimentions(wheel base, lenght, hight, width, tyre diameter)and engine position(rear/front),type of design(New edge,Retro,Bio design). If you want a definite 3D Windows(side and windshield),must sent me all dimensions(jpg, jpeg or bmp).If you interested of this, please e-mail me on b_design_bg@yahoo.com http://designerspace.com/pages/3-designerspace/design/m/1/p/1/a/7746/portfolios.html(This is one of my old works, and it show the detail quality of the cars, that I create.)
