How interesting that you would bring that up today; I'm emailing back and forth with Mike (MADMIKE) about the kit that he offers even as I'm writing this.

His website is:
www.madmikes.8m.net/" target="_blank">http://www.madmikes.8m.net/

The page specific to the Thunderbird kit is:
http://home.earthlink.net/~madmike-49ford/

There's a photo page that has a bunch of pictures of a silver car:
www.madmikes.8m.net/photo.html" target="_blank">http://www.madmikes.8m.net/photo.html

You can start there.

Your pal,
Meat.

meat,

Is there any way that you can remove mad mike from this website?
I currently have a case with the postal inspector filed against him for fraud. I am aware of several people in my same situation, and we are currently putting together a civil suit against him. I paid him 5,600 dollars for a miata with 54,000 miles and a z3 kit way back in APRIL OF 2004. I was lied to regarding the condition of the car and mileage (one of his first lies). The car apparently has a faulty odometer, reading 9,999,999 miles on the title, and the car is in horrible condition. I can provide pictures of the car, receipts for payment, and a phony completion date of may of 2004. mike has barely even worked on the car. He has strung me along, breaking several promises concerning the work finished on the car. i am also scared for people just clicking on the link to his site because he seems like a legitimate, friendly businessman upfront. When he received my money it was a different story. He would not return phone calls for months, he would threaten to go bankrupt, showing a different side all together. Please email me and i will send you what ever proof you need to cut his link from this site. If you want more details of this whole ordeal i can provide you with that too. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

Thank you for your time,

john

I also have had issues with Mad Mike.
He is a total SCAMMER who will rip you off in a heartbeat.
His products are CRAP, especially the 49 Ford kit that took over 20 months to get. He has ripped off alot of people. DON'T DEAL WITH HIM AT ALL. I finally got help from Detective Ted Cain of the Pembroke, MA police (781-293-6648}he is familar with Mad Mike and his antics.
I'm sure he will help anyone out.
