Does anyone know anything about the Air Dynamics 355 Spider replica? There aren't any pictures on the Powerhouse website, and my e - mail was met with no response. Can anybody direct me to the BEST 355 Spider replica kit? I've discussed my interest in building my 355 before for under 40 or 50 grand. Thanks, guys! ~ Steve |

There are pics on the powerhouse site. click on kits, then on the AD355 info, scroll down. There are 2 sets one from Watson, the other from Cox.

That's weird... Hmmm... Well, again, my e - mail address is hinkesoo7@yahoo.com if you wouldn't mind trying again? Thank you. Also, is there a phone number I could reach you guys at to work out pricing? I did see the photos of the Berlinetta model, but none of the Spider, that's why I asked. Thanks again. ~ Steve

OK, thanks, I got it.Seems to be working now. In a previous post, you had discussed the possibility of installing OEM door panels to get the deeper air scoops. Also, any 'finished product' pictures of Berlinetta or Spider (preferrably Spider) would be much appreciated. Thanks again. ~ Steve

Currently Duane Cox is the first guy to be putting together the spyder version. For the longest time Air Dynamics would only produce the coupe version. But demand has convinced him to do the spyder. The downfall to the spyder is finding a solution to a good convertble top www.powerhousesports.net |

Regardless of what ANY kit offers for a convertible top, I'd be using a real 355 top. I have yet to see one that fits properly, and looks as good as the Warlock 355's in "The Rock". And again, what's the deal with the OEM door panels?? The scoops on the AD kit aren't large enough. The bottom line is this - all I need from you or your builder is the Spider kit itself, bolted onto the Fiero and that's pretty much it. I can get everything else done by my people. I also intend to use a LOT of real 355 pieces on the interior. Questions... #1 - where are your facilities located?? #2 - is there a phone number I can reach Powerhouse at to work out pricing?? #3 - door panels! Thanks ~ Steve

The AD355 doesn't really have 2 different style doors. It just has the AD355 style, which has the integraded customized for the fiero door scoop. AD does does make the OEM doorscoop, but you will have to cut and glue this one in. Since the AD355 door is made shorter for the fiero, the top part will have to be lengthend 5/8" to meet the bottom part. I will email you regarding the other details. www.powerhousesports.net |

360, would I be able to use a real 355 top and boot cover for the kit or a top assembly from Ron Larson (he just e - mailed me) at Fancy Cars? Any more information would be greatly appreciated. Also, how many 355's have your builders completed? Thanks. ~ Steve P.S. I saw the pictures on the Powerhouse site of the modified doors and they look great! Thanks again!

hinkesoo7I am doing an Air Dynamics 355 spider. It is probably the one PowerHouse is talking about. I have created doors that have OEM size doorscoops, thats not to hard. I took it a step even further and added in the doorjam! I try to put in a few hours every night into the car. The goal is to have it on the road in the spring. Anyway my website is http://www.*******355kit.com but it's not complete as I'm not a web disigner and need help, but my images are at http://www.*******355kit.com/images Have a look for yourself. You can see the modified doors along with the standard doors, as well as the semi-installed doorjam. New pics posted every week or so. Now if I could just build a website... :) take a look at this... (my images and my work) http://www.f355kit.com/images/doorjam/doorjam_prefit3.jpg http://www.f355kit.com/images/doorjam/doorjam_prefit4.jpg http://www.f355kit.com/images/doorscoop/installed_oem_doorscoop1.jpg http://www.f355kit.com/images/doorscoop/installed_oem_doorscoop2.jpg http://www.f355kit.com/images/doorscoop/installed_oem_doorscoop_back1.jpg Powerhouse can get you a kit if you so desire.
