Drewg: Thanks for the link Yes, those headlights by AB Flug are great, but I have trouble with the $1200 price tag.My 240SX is running a diffenet aftermarket headlight... http://photos.yahoo.com/my240sx91 Those front ends are a little to ricer for me, I love the retro look... Scott: Isn't that sweet? I think it is am interesting combo of 2 designs that are 20 years apart. Looking at the profile of the car, I think the 240SX would be good base for a ******* 365 GTB/4 Daytona

or 275 GTB type kit.

My only concern would be the wheel to dash length of the 240sx. It is rather short. An old z car would probably be great for either of those cars. I've seen the daytonas that are base on the z car. My problem with them is that they look a little narrow compared to the real thing. If someone made a wider one that used wider wheels I think it would look great. I love the old 275 GTB's. Later, Scott

Yes, you are correct...There is a Daytona Spyder based on a Z chassis, but it looks too narrow and from the portion behind the doors do not look correct of level. It screws with the natural line of the car. Hmm... The 240SX would be a great base for a classic car, 4 wheel independent suspension, front engine, RWD,155hp/165 f/lbs torque stock, 52/48 weight distrubtion... Wheelbase : 97.4in Overall length : 178.0 Width : 66.5 Height : 50.4
I figure something would look good on it, I guess I'll keep looking... Thanks Scott Bow Going retro with my '91 Nissan 240SX |

Hey... just wanted to pop by and say that I am most flattered by the fact someone has tried to pass themselves off as ME on this (and other ) forums. Handy trick putting the "." at the end to get around the system. As an individual working in this Industry and gainfully employed by it, I take seriously the impact of this action. The representation you are making can seriously effect my reputation and business. Misprepresenting yourself like this can only cause problems. I'm hoping you'll reconsider. My name as well as several others you are doing the same thing with. To the point even, that you are having conversations with yourself on these forums... Grow up, get a grip, be yourself, get involved and contribute like every other person here. There's no need for this. DKOV - Scott Kovalik DKOV Motorsports www.gopc.com/F355/F355x.html |
