Serious responses only please. How are kitcars created? It seems that all of these 1-man shops are loners working in their garages or they are a tiny 2 men shop. So how do these dudes come up with the panel sizes and shapes and of course they have added complexity of trying to make the panels fit on a donor car. Is it as simple as buying a 1/24 kit car and working from its dimensions? Or do they just buy a so-called accurate kitcar and copy it. Thanks for your response. |

It all begins in a little tiny cave, where the elves live. They usually awaken from their long winter sleep as soon as the first light of spring touches the earth.After eating a hearty breakfast, they go out and frolic in the fields and valleys, picking dandilions and singing happy little elf songs. Then, around noon, they all gather in the great elvish hall and eat a big meal. Afterwards, they all settle in for some much needed siesta time, where they dream about Lotus and Lamborghini. They get up to eat a filling dinner then they go down to the kit car mines. They use their shiny picks and magic shovels to dig the kit cars out. Then they take them back up to the surface, and put them on the top of the highest mountain in the land. Then the kit car fairies ride down on magic clouds and pick them up. The kit car fairies deliver their kit car presents to only the kids that have been good aaaaaall year and do what their parents tell them, and eat all of their broccoli, and go to bed on time, and treat everyone with respect. It SEEMED like Edge-Net had a problem wetting his pants! Thanks for clearing that up, meat! NOW we know where all this hostility is coming from! PS. If the kit car elves only bring cars to GOOD little boys and girls, Edge-Net will be a very sad little boy on Christmas morning... Little f*ing inbred...

thomasm Thank-you for the info you provided, I will checkout the sites. Hopefully I will become a more knowledgeable consumer. I am still shopping for a kitcar. I will be checking a few out this weekend. They are both Lambos 1-built on a Fiero and the other on a tube frame. I feel that the Fiero based Lambo will be a safer car.
