I am trying to get things done on a budget (not cut any corners). Buying directtly off of Renegade for instance will cost me around $5,000 as you probally know, but only $2,000 of that is for the rebuild.Anyway a rebuild kit is only $300 from Motor Miester. When I told Motor Miester I was building a 400hp small block for the 915 they told me it would break! Now I havn't been doing this for long but I have talked to alot of people and never heard that before. Does anyone have any advice? |

It's not the HP that will detonate your transaxle, it's the torque. You might want to check with Ron Simpson Hybrids (www.porchev.com), they had a 914 that was running a 350hp Chevy 350 through a STOCK 915.
