Hello, you all may laugh at me, but i am 16 years old. for the past 5 years, i have dreampt about building and owning my own kit car. i would greatfully appreciate any who are willing to give me some ideas on if i have gone too far with my dreams. i have searched MANY times and sadly, have been brought down by the prices at which these fiberglass vehicles cost. also...i have a small amount of space and a small bank account. if you guys can give me some ideas, i would be so thankful.

Does anyone know anything about the PISA corp. Fino or Finale? I have taken a liking to these kits, as they seems easy to assemble and cheap, especially the donor cars.

Ok I'm 19 and here is what I have figured. At 16 it's not going to happen. Think of it this way, buying a turnkey (completed kit car) is going to be around 25-40K. If you plan to build your own, your going to need the expertise, skills, patience and still allot of money. If you try and build your own, you would fork out: 3K for the chasis (fiero), and $5K minimum for the body kit. Add accessories and stuff and even if your dam lucky, you'll spend $15K for the car. Best to wait till your older. I want one bad but even at 19, I'm going to have to settle for my 99 Eclipse.

Hey, lets not knock the kid. Pisa seems to be a honest company. My
advice, is get a job to bring in the money, buy your kit first, then
buy your fiero. Having the kit at home will push you to work more and
more. Your advantage, I didn't have when I was your age is the power
of the internet. You can get alot of ????s answered on here. Kits are
not easy to make, you have to have fabricating skills( take welding
and machine shop classes, auto body, etc when you can(high school, junior college)Pisas Artero is very nice. Good luck
