You really need to not ask that question on any more threads, Edge-Net.Being involved with in the kit car industry for as long as I have, and being involved with the most often replicated car out there (427 Cobra), the question is very rarely if it's fake. The proper question is:
"Is it real?"
There have been many answers over the years, but the most often used are: "Yes, it is a real car" and "No, it's imaginary."
And it really doesn't matter what the response is anyways; the people asking the question are simply socially inept, and really don't know what they're looking at or what they're talking about. I once watched a gentleman who "knew everything about Cobras" proceed to tell onlookers that he could tell which car was the real one simply by looking at the speedometers - "all the real Cobras had reversed ones." He demonstrated his prowess by pointing out Lynn Park's (a very well known Cobra fella who has been around Shelbys and Cobras since time began) original 289FIA Cobra and saying it was a replica, and then showing his followers that the car I was lucky enough to be driving which was parked next to Lynn's car - a Superformance replica - was real.
In the end, it's not important; build and drive whatever you like. In theory, you should be building the car that you want to drive. You shouldn't build your car for anyone else.
