Would ******* be able to jack with you leagely if you reproduced there concept cars since most were not actuly made by ******* but rather rebodied by Pininfarina, or do you even think they would. I am not talking about a kitcar actuly but rather a rebody of a real ******* such as the 288 GTO rebody of the 308's and 328's which seem to be left alone by ******* anyway. What I am considering would be say, you get a wrecked 550 Marnello and put a carbon fiber Rossa Concept body on it and so on, or a wrecked Testarossa with a Mythos or FX body on it. I Would also like to do this for other motordormes, but only highly wanted concept cars. Oh and on a similer note would it be possible to fit an F40 Body on a 308, 328, or 288 GTO. Because to me and I am not positive but the 308, 328, 288 GTO, GTO Evolutizon and the F40 all seem to have came cockpit. Now I do know that the F40 and GTO's have the exact same wheel base and even rims. So if they can put a GTO body on a streched 308 could you do an F40 on a 308 as well. |

******* could jack you for anything. Heck, I got a letter from them when I was selling my McBurnie Daytonas. On an up note, if you're just building one-offs and not offering kits then you're probably not going to get anything from them...unless you're really good, and you advertise the car as something it's not. If you make a custom body for a ******* - say an F40 on a ******* - you technically, are still working on a ******* base, so they probably wouldnt' come after you for making a kit and calling it a ******* ... assuming you advertised it as a custom ******* F40 or whatever. Your pal, Meat.
