so what is, your biggest dream?

ok I assume that you are referring to www.kreamerdesign.br when you're talking about the Brazilian kit car I was told that they do ship and are very close to the largest port in Brazil…the problem is that they do not answer their email. If you look at this site http://www.kit-car.tk/ link page you can find second hand Porsche kits, but again they are in brazil.
It seems that brazil is the only one that still manufacture Porsche kits.

If I was you I would contact the www.Covin.co.uk builders and official home page you will be surprised how many people actually never completed or even started they projects which you now can buy for peanuts…I know because I nearly did this myself about a two years ago.

I think that someone might have bought the moulds for covin cars but I’m still looking into that!!! You could go to brazil to collect it? there used to be another company in brazil that did a replica of an 911 C2... they were really nice and i email with them for a while thay only wanted R$20000.00 for a turnkey car, but before i got my act together they were gone...i'll see if ican find them!?!?

Yes covin doesn’t as far as I know make kits anymore.

I would not expect you to by a turn key car were is the fun in that? Then you might as well buy the real thing. But for what the kit would cost here, you could go to brazil, buy the kit, ship it over and still have money left over.

I hope you find the kit you want to build, but what ever you choose I think you’ll have to ship.

Oh yeah, I’ll let you know if I find out if someone have bought the moulds, I also asked a acquaintance of mine, to look into possible other Porsche kit manufactures in South America…which is the only place I think you’ll find them, except for covin.

Hi I've got an excellent covin kit for sale, I've had it for eight years and can now afford a real 911, the car is of excellent build quality. I've been offered ÂŁ4000 for it, I just seeing if I can get some more bidders ? I can send pictures if youre interested. Building a kit is a massive pain in the arse like you wouldnt believe. Mine has full porsche interior, 2 litre ford OHC, 17" alloy compomotives, tax exempt, cheap to insure, it's white. Engine mated onto VW four speed box. Stainless steel straight through exhaust, covin chassis, on a 'C' registration. Proper rubber concentina bumpers which really makes this kit look unbelievably real as the original kit has just moulded bumper concertinas. Electric windows, everyone trys to burn you off the lights !!! It's an excellent kit, brilliant fun, adjustable suspension, sticks to the road like glue (in the dry) my email address is ; Lisa.Grafton@Bbrail.com

Forgot to say my kit is a VW based - VW Variant is the donor used but you have to search around for some of the rarer parts for these sixties - seventies VW's !!! I know a load about the kit so if anyone wants advice please mail me. Covin were based in England, well Ireland when they were last heard of!!! Have you all been in touch with the Covin Owners Club ? They' re on the net !! Good luck !!
