I would like to know if anyone has any info or suggestions regarding
gear box's. I don't have a core so I'm not leaning towards any
certain type. I'm running approx 475-500 HP SBC which brand is most
user friendly and cost efficient? All or any seggestion's would
be great.
thanks David..

ps Meat, I know you've got some inside for me :)

I hear that the Audi 5000 tranaxle is a good choice. I know 3 guys that have run them with no problems. They seem to be built very stout.

Any turbo model gearbox from Porsche will suffice-4, 5 or 6 speed. We at PowerHausII specialize in these conversions and have much to offer.
