There are a few of us researching the possibility of starting a company that builds/sells kit cars.

Can anyone speak to the market? I have not been around the kit industry and am unfamiliar with what the market is like. Are there a lot of people looking for these cars, do most people that want them, build their own, is there really a market out there for a company to build and sell them?

Trying to be realistic we were looking to start of with simply 1-2 cars per year. That would be hoping to build/sell 1-2 per year.

The kits we are looking at are the Lambo kits from IFG.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
