I am currently building a 2001 Diablo Roadster kit. I have been building cars for a while and usually know where to find my answers. However, this is one question I can not seem to get help with. I know that there are several possiblities out there but I am not sure how to go about putting mine together. Here is what I have at this point. I am sold on using a small block chevy V8 on my car, but the question comes when trying to match it up with a tranny. I have been told to find a 930 trans to bolt up to it but from what I have read thus far there are a lot of mods that must be done to get them to work together. I have also been told to use the stock fiero trans with an adapter kit but I am not sure the pontiac will be able to handle the torque. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it!

Go here, www.v8archie.com they have what you need to put a 350, Northstar etc... in the car with the fiero tranny. From the research I've done the Fiero tranny is fully capable up to about 400 hp. Beyond that the Porsche tranny is recommended.

Good Luck
