Mitch - Administrator Two "new" classified ads to review for possible removal:Ad #2924 2003 PORSCHE 911 TWIN TURBO Same ass back again, but now he has got himself an in-country address. Vehicle pictures identical to ad you recently removed. This idiot is now asking for a 20% deposit prior to shipment. Ad #2926 Porsche 1978 911 sunroof/turbo body/much more Possible this ad may be legit, but stated payment terms are very suspicious. Seller demanding certified funds to be cashed prior to shipment or delivery of vehicle. Does anyone screen these classified ads prior to posting? Mike

Have you contacted the sellers? I see no reason to remove these ads at this time. Sellers can ask for full payment in cash if thats what they want, it doesn't automatically mean that it's a scam.If someone finds that these ads are scams for sure, please let us know. KitCars.com Mitch

Mitch - Administrator: Ad #2924 Refer to dave 114 post under prior TopicID=1087 (Classified Ad Scam ?) stating that identical pictures as appear in current ad do not depict a Porsche "Twin Turbo". Consider seller's own text stating, "sold new for over $121,000,00" vs. seller's current price: $60,000.00. What Porsche depreciates in value by $60,000.00 in one year? Did seller quickly relocate to U.S., since in ad removed recently he was located out of country? Personally, I have no need to waste valuable time contacting this seller, for I know "s**t" when I smell it! I only hope some inexperienced visitor to this website does not act on this ad and end up losing $12,000.00 by being duped into wire transfer of 20% "upfront" deposit. Mike

Just to clear something up!!This is a Porsche 911 GT2 Twin Turbo http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/06/911gt2_11.jpg Now compare that with the Ad pictures, and you can tell that it is not the same thing. http://www.kitcars.com/Classifieds/AdDetails.asp?classified_id=2924 Plus a GT2 costs $181,700, another $60,000 on top of the Turbo. Someone who has enough money to purchase a Porsche, know's excactly what their car is, and would not make this fundamental mistake. Plus this ad has appeared before with the same pictures and has been taken off. This ad, in my opinion, is a scam and needs to be taken off now, before someone falls for it!! Hope this helps Your mate in OZ Dave
