shaddoe, who the hell do you think you are??? You have over stepped the mark, this time!! How dare you bring up something like that in a public forum!! That sort of information is private, and is not up to you to devulge. If you find out information like that you keep your mouth shut, because all you have done now is p!ssed people off. Who cares if meat was in trouble with the law, alot of people have, but that doesn't give you the right to try and use it against them. And I ask you, how does that affect his argument, he is still right whether he went to jail or not.

If you want to be respected in this industry, then you better start respecting others, because right now you are losing potential customers. They see that you are petty, spiteful, and willing to do anything to prove that you are right, even when you are not. I for one will not ever consider your company for anything concerning my car, and will make sure others make the same choice. Ever heard the old rule of marketing?? "A happy customer will tell one person, but an unhappy customer will tell 65". I hope you can learn from this experience and don't make the same mistake again.

meat, well, well, well. all i can say is i've shown the facts of the origional statements but since my grammer isn't all that good you feel to be the better man but heres the thing, i never said i was the most intellectual person, i've always said i was a car builder. to finish this off i'll end with the origional statements which started this whole mess,
1. i purchased a video from curt scott(fact), call curt yourself. meats statement is that curt never sold a video(call curt). i talked to curt saturday and he admitted to selling me the video.
2. meat made a statement that i never had problems with ifg, i clearly have built two ifg 25th anniv. cars(fact), this is where meat brought the integrity of my company into the mix.
heres the two statements which started the whole mess, after everything meat still won't admit he was wrong.
as for people's additude towards me, does anyone know demetrius from exotic illusions? have you ever talked to him? man he is a smartass but a damn good car builder. does he care what people think about his additude? no, he only care about what they think of his cars. i'll tell you something about the kitcar community which say alot of who the good people are, when the exotic illusion's shop burned down did you know he didn't have insurance on it? because of the respect people have for him you can read on kitcar.com some of the help that people(even his competitors)helped out. after all that had happened to him do you think he cares now what people think of his additude? nope, not one bit different and its still only about the cars. for meat to make accusation(entry level wanna-be builder)about the ability i have at building cars he is directly making accusations about the quality of the cars i've built. so do i really care what thinks about me? nope, its all about the cars.

• I make no statement that I cannot back up. I wouldn't call someone a liar unless I could or had proved it, or if the person I'm calling a liar demonstrates that they are a liar to everyone else. If someone intentionally posts a falsehood - like calling someone an 'ex-con' - then they are a liar. If they have intentionally misrepresented other things (in your case, many things) then they are a liar.


• Calling someone a liar - and being able to prove is - is significantly different than calling someone a convicted felon because you want to. Especially when the person you're calling a convicted felon isn't one. Once again, guessing doesn't really work for you.


• I do not in any way attack your company - real or imagined - I question your credibility.


• You have shown no proof and produced no 'fact' of anything, anywhere, at any time. You make guesses ... really bad guesses ... and you spew lies. Lies are not proof, guesses are not fact.


• Whether your purchased a video from Curt Scott or not is (1) not a fact, (2) not what started this whole thing, (3) irrelevant and immaterial.

• I always admit when I'm wrong. Unlike you, I know that learning only occurs when you listen, not when you talk. I have not been wrong in any of my statements to you or about you thus far. In fact, I have been spot-on right with everything I've said as well as everything I predicted you'd say. You fervently read everything on my website, you make cross country phone calls because of my posts, and you seek at every turn to try to find some chink in my armor that you can exploit. Why? Because my word is worth something, and yours is not. If you can out-draw the fastest gun in the west, then you - by default - then become the fastest gun. If you fail your hero test, then you never emerge from the underworld. It's all part of the whole Joseph Campbell mythos. Well, shaddoe, your hero test was awhile ago. You failed at your be or flee moment. You have become just another example of what to look out for when researching a builder. You have become a footnote through your actions. To get to this end required no deus ex machina, it only required your predictable participation.

The question does remain, though, that if I am supposed to be respected, why would I respond to your repeated attacks? Why would I allow myself to sink to the level of muck that you wallow in?

The answer to that question is simple: Knights don't wear shining armor all the time. They have to protect the kingdom from all threats dark and sinister. They have to be willing to do the job that no one else wants to do. They have to defeat the dragons. The hordes at the gate. Those that would threaten the peace and stability that is the veneer of the kingdom.

I am a steward of the kit car industry. I am one of the people who is willing to do the work, and go the extra mile, to shepherd the industry along the path of the good and the righteous. Every person I help either through guidance or hands-on work sells three more cars. Every law I change gets more of these beautiful cars on the road legally. Every flaw I expose keeps another nail from being hammered into the coffin of the kit car industry.

You know that, I know that, many other people know that...and that's why you post the way you post - attack at every turn, make things up, put words in other people's mouths in attempts to justify your actions - you're scared. You're a frightened little boy who wants to stand on the shoulders of giants and proclaim himself king of the world without doing the footwork, paying the dues, or earning that right. Well, it doesn't work that way. To quote AC/DC, "It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll."
